WALLCOVERINGS ARE A FOUNDATION of interior design and one of the most heavily relied upon strategies to spruce up the vibe of a physical space. Offices, for example, use this strategy often. As we can see from the following images, it can make all the difference in the world. When a prospective customer comes in, a business owner wants them to immediately understand that he or she is very committed to their brand.

Installing an impressive wallcovering is a great way to do that. Check out some examples below.

Wall Decal World
Mason, Ohio

As you can imagine by the very name of their business, Wall Decal World focuses on wallcoverings, making it their calling card. Owner Lindsay Robinson is dedicated to the community and wants to help local business owners brand their interiors in striking and dynamic ways.

Her shop uses a Roland DGA TrueVIS VG-2540 54-inch printer for all of their jobs. Phototex Removable Adhesive Fabric was the chosen media for the Grace Union Church wall wrap, while Mactac Rebel High Tack Vinyl was used for the local YMCA and Magna Mechanical wall installations.

Tip: If you can, market yourself to your community as the number one provider of a specific service like Wall Decal World has. This way, when potential customers in the community need that specific service, they’ll immediately think of you.

Poblocki Sign Company
Milwaukee

Poblocki Sign Company was commissioned by Foley Hoag Law Firm to create a wallcovering design that had layers of dimension to complement large scale wall graphics that were unique to Boston, the firm’s home. Using an EFI Vutek H3 printer, Poblocki Sign Company printed onto Terralon Dreamscape eco-friendly wallcovering, non-glare acrylic panels, and 3M Envision Print Film 48C with 3M Scotchcal Matte Overlaminate 8520.

“The challenge was to create a different look for the founder’s images in contrast to the timeline images, and to provide a feeling of dimensionality to the wall. Additionally, we wanted to create a timeline that shows off the milestones and accomplishments of the client to make advancements in our nation’s Civil Rights Movement,” says Cindy Wendland, marketing leader, Poblocki Sign Company. “It uses sustainable materials, and it highlights the mission of the client, which has for many years been a Civil Rights leader with many memorable milestones in history, highlighted by this wall.”

Tip: An excited client like Foley Hoag will always come to the table with great ideas. It’s your job to refine them into the most efficient and impressive design you’re capable of creating.
