King of the Football World
Breaking records on and off the field, Lionel Messi is one of the most decorated footballers in history. With the help of SVN Designs, the football legend and fellow iconic players of the Argentina national team have been encapsulated in a 30-square-foot multilayer print. Standing from floor to ceiling, this print features vibrant colors and intricate details made possible by using an advanced printing approach and laser cutting to add a multidimensional touch.

As the 50th anniversary of the Black Hills Flood approached, The Journey Museum and Learning Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, sought to create a free-to-the-public exhibit honoring the lives lost and educating community members about the tragic event. Local PSP Simpsons Printing took on the meaningful job of designing, printing, and installing the 2597-square-foot exhibit in just three months.

The legacy of late plane racing legend Chuck Lyford and his Bardahl special lives on nearly 60 years after its prime. Denver-based PSP, Ink Monstr, was given a unique request to refurbish Lyford’s 1960s paint scheme; a design that was lost to history. By scouring old archived records, the team recreated and digitized the legendary scheme to match its original appearance.

A nine-foot-tall beetle does sound frightening, but this display will have you more amazed than afraid. PSP @colorreflections turned a British photographer’s intricate work into large-scale photos and lenticular murals. Displayed at Drexel University’s Academy of Natural Sciences, this project perfectly captured the quality, precision, and perfection required for such a detailed job.

@AtchleyGraphics joined forces with The Ohio State University to wrap a large gate entrance to the historic Ohio Stadium. As part of the shop's new partnership with Corona, the project required hundreds of square feet of vinyl to turn concrete walls and flooring into an immersive beach-side display.

Considered a master at her craft, she's been in the business for more than 60 years and has recently opened her horizons to digital print. She met with a leading figure in the digital textile printing community, Kathryn Sanders, CEO of Western Sensibility, to discuss the impacts of this technology and how times have changed.

“I first met the illustrious Bonnie Tarses when she visited my digital textile printing studio almost a year ago. Little did I know I’d be spending time with the most tech savvy 80-year-old woman and digital print enthusiast I’d met in my career,” Sanders says.
