Shop Fills “Naughty” Order, Prints Massive Nude Photo for Man’s Wife

THE ODDEST EXPERIENCE I’ve had working in the printing industry is kind of “naughty.” I had a customer come to me wanting to know about our canvas prints. I gave the normal speech of how much it would cost, our turn time, etc.

Well, he agreed to the cost and just like that, stopped in his tracks and his face turned serious.

I was confused, to say the least. After what seemed like an eternity of silence, but was more like five to seven seconds, the customer looked at me and, in a whisper, said, “Now, this picture I want you to print is very … private. It isn’t something I would normally have done anywhere because of what it is.”

I replied and told him about the confidentiality policy we strictly adhere to. After a small hesitation, he agreed, then said, “I will send you the photo. Please make sure no one will see it.”

I opened my email and there it was: the most striking, unclothed photo I have ever seen in my life! It was professionally taken, and it was just something I hadn’t seen before. And it wasn’t going to be printed in a small size. … I’m talking a massive 3 x 4-foot canvas print. Holding back my shock, I told the customer their portrait would not be seen.

I stayed after hours, printed this massive nude photo for this man’s wife, rolled it up, and placed it in a tube. After he came back and picked it up, he had a look in his eyes that he was embarrassed. I was too.
