Drytac has expanded its Polar Grip range with the addition of Polar Grip Air, a 3.2-mil white polymeric PVC film with high-tack gray adhesive and a bubble-free technology release liner. The media is engineered for simplified application on a variety of surfaces including coarse brick, concrete, floors, and substrates with low surface energy such as smooth plastic machine equipment, motorcycle helmets, and more. Compatible with latex, eco-solvent, and UV printers and available in roll widths up to 54 in.

Roland DGA’s WallFlair Paste Paper is a 15-mil uncoated fibrous nonwoven media for wall applications. The material is 100% PVC and heavy metal free, REACH compliant, and ASTM E-84 Class A (Fire) certified. Features include high opacity, high dimensional stability, textile-like look and feel, washable surface, and one-piece clean removability. The paper substrate is compatible with UV and resin ink and can be applied with standard wallpaper paste. Stocked in widths of 54 in.

Fisher Textiles Blockout Fabrics

New media for banners, exhibit graphics, back drops, and more.

Fisher Textiles has revealed two new printable blockout fabrics. DD7118 White-Out features a soft knit face and back-facing white coating for an opaque output on applications including SEG, pillowcase displays, banners, and backdrops. The fabric is flame-retardant, stocked in 125-in rolls, and compatible with dye sub transfer, direct dye sub, and UV-curable printing.

GF8819 DS Nirvana is a 122-in. flame-retardant fabric consisting of two layers of GF4019 Nirvana. The layers are black-back laminated together for two-sided printing and opacity. The fabric is designed for dye sub transfer and UV-curable printing
applications such as double-sided banners and exhibit graphics.

Nekoosa Glass Finishes

Nekoosa announces Nekoosa Glass Finishes, a new portfolio of printable and plottable window films designed for privacy and finishing purposes on the interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings. Available in Deep Etch, Light Etch, Dusted Crystal, Frost, Sand Blast and Sand Matte finishes, each film offers a degree of privacy by obscuring direct visibility while allowing excellent light transmission.

Each film includes a solvent-performance permanent adhesive that allows for up to seven years of outdoor use, as well as a 3-mil PET liner for printing and plotter-cut applications. The finishes also include a bird safety film that allows birds to see windows that otherwise appear invisible to protect both the bird and the building.

The Blaze SEG Light Box series of fabric light boxes is designed with a 6- or 4-in.-deep frame and pre-attached, full-perimeter LED light bars with internal power supply to reduce unwanted shadowing. Configurations include wall mounted (13 available sizes), freestanding (nine available sizes), and hanging (13 available sizes), plus silver, black, or white frame. They also are available with two backlit graphic material options: dye dub-printed Backlit Textile, an 8-oz tightly woven, slightly stretchy fabric that can be folded, washed, and reused; or UV/LED-printed Intensity, a 6.5-oz material with a smooth, coated finish that leverages a double-strike process.

The Modify Retail Merchandising System is a flexible display system incorporating SEG push-fit fabric graphics and modifiable components including graphics, accessories, and furniture. Kits include single-sided, double-sided, gondola, and four-sided configuration options.
