The ColorEdge CG210 from Eizo is a 21.3-in. LCD monitor designed for color-critical work. Featuring a thin-bezel cabinet design, the SWOP-certified CG210 offers 14-bit processing, a 170-degree viewing angle and a resolution of 1600 x 1200. The monitor also features: a contrast ratio of 550:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a pitch of 0.270mm, 10-bit gamma correction, and independent 6-color control.

The monitor's ActiveRotation II feature automatically rotates the monitor's screen orientation 90 degrees between landscape and portrait when the user changes the monitor's orientation. Because ActiveRotation II is hardware-based, the redrawing of the pixels takes place inside the monitor rather on the PC; as a result, the CPU speed is not affected in the process. The feature supports Macintosh OS X and 9 as well as Windows 2000/XP.

The CG210 comes bundled with Eizo's ColorNavigator calibration software (version 3), which can be used in conjunction with an Eizo ColorEdge CX1 calibrator or a GretagMacbeth Eye-One device (sold separately).

The CG210 replaces the company's CG21 monitor. (Eizo: www.eizo.com)
