This year's imageWorld event will take place August 18-20 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City. Produced by Signs of the Times & Screen Printing en Espa??ol magazine (a sister publication to The Big Picture), imageWorld 2005 will offer an estimated 9,000 attendees up-close access to the latest equipment for digital imaging, signmaking, and screen printing. More than 170 companies will be represented corporately, or by their distributors in Mexico.

New this year is a seminar program sponsored by Canagraf, the Mexican association of graphic-arts professionals. The program will comprise three separate seminar tracks; attendees can pick and choose the classes most applicable to their company, and also participate in hands-on sessions. The program will be keynoted by Jose Luis Zamora, vice president of CONLATINGRAF (the Latin American confederation of the graphic industry); Zamora will hit on the main factors affecting the leadership of Mexico's graphics industry throughout the world, economic indicators, obstacles to growth, and other topics.

The keynote session is free to imageWorld attendees, as is admission to the tradeshow hall. All attendees also receive a free subscription to Signs of the Times & Screen Printing en espa??ol. (imageWorld 2005: www.graficosdehoy.com/imageworld)
