Grand-Format Grizzlies

Banners help promote Memphis NBA team.

Miratec Systems, a business-to-business graphics producer in St. Paul, MN, produced these 5 x 35-ft 3D banners featuring close-ups of select players of the Memphis Grizzlies NBA basketball team. The shop used its VUTEk UltraVu 3300 superwide printer to output onto 3M Panagraphics material, with a 3M overlaminate.

Installed on rectangular steel poles projecting from the side of the FedEx Forum building in Memphis, each banner comprises a one-sided, dual graphic of each player that loops around the poles; a 6-in. black panel between the dual images enhances the 3D effect.
