Kodak Polychrome Graphics has chosen Rob Pipe to direct their worldwide color proofing business. Formerly a product manager for color proofing, Pipe will manage KPG's portfolio of analog, inkjet, digital halftone and emergent proofing technologies, including the Matchprint analog, Matchprint inkjet, Kodak Approval, Matchprint digital halftone, and Matchprint Virtual Proofing system.

“With the broad spectrum of proofing technologies available to printing and graphic-arts professionals, customers need a partner who understands the various options and can make recommendations,” said KPG's CEO Jeff Jacobson.

Pipe reports to Vic Stalam, KPG's vice-president and chief marketing and business-development officer. Pipe has more than a decade of graphic-arts experience, having served in position of increasing responsibility with 3M, Imation and KPG. He has also worked in France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom where he gained expertise in graphic-arts proofing, plates, and film. (KPG: www.kpgraphics.com)
