MACtac Receives UL Recognition on Overlamination after Printing on Durable Films

STOW, Ohio – September 12, 2013 — MACtac® Roll Label secured Underwriter Laboratories (UL) Recognition for overlamination after printing on durable films with Environmental Film III No Wax Inks, now providing certification on the entire construction.

When using UL Recognized MACtac products, converters now have pre-approved compliance that they can rely on to ensure fast market access because of reduced costs and time spent qualifying substrates. Pre-approval means no new testing is required, only a paper transfer which can be submitted through an Internet portal, via email or phone. Using pre-approved products can save up to 12 weeks of inconvenient testing.
