Harmonizing Mind, Body, and Spirit Is His Secret to Work-Life Balance

As the second-generation family member to run KDM Pop Solutions Group in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bob Kissel has taken the best of what his parents built and used new technologies to grow in new directions. “We’re still based in the same values: family, charity, work, and fun!” he says.

Kissel finds equilibrium by working out every morning, being thankful for the blessings in his life, and sharing those blessings with others. “As I walk the plant each morning, I find talking to the team about their lives and work is uplifting and energizing,” he says. “My work supports the goals I want to achieve: raising my wonderful three children, giving back to others personally and through charities, and having fun, like enjoying a round of golf with good friends or listening to ‘Big Hair Music’ in my car.”

He says his secret to work-life balance is harmonizing mind, body, and spirit; being surrounded by wonderful family, teammates, and friends; and “never taking things so seriously that I lose focus of those goals!”
