Epson today announced the SureColor® F2000 Series direct-to-garment (DTG) ink jet printers are now shipping. Poised to become the new benchmark in high-performance garment imaging, the SureColor F2000 White Edition and SureColor F2000 Color Edition will be available for purchase from a network of Epson DTG authorized professional imaging resellers, including All American, Axiom America, BelQuette Inc., Equipment Zone, GroupeSTAHL , and Lawson Screen & Digital. Engineered by Epson from the ground up, the SureColor F2000 Series printers deliver industrial-level production, image quality and reliability. With the ability to print directly onto garments – t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tote bags, and more – ranging from 100 percent cotton to 50/50 cotton/synthetic fiber blends, the SureColor F2000 Series offers additional revenue opportunities for garment print shops of any size. “For over three years, Epson dedicated a team of mechanical, chemical and software engineers to create an all-new imaging technology solution for printing directly onto garments,” said Larry Kaufman, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “The result of this is the SureColor F2000 Series, which we are very excited to now be shipping into the hands of our customers. The earlier announcement of these printers has made a big splash in the DTG industry, with many of our resellers already taking pre-orders, and we look forward to seeing the creative applications produced by garment shops.” More about the SureColor F2000 Series The SureColor F2000 Series printers leverage Epson UltraChrome® DG ink technology – an all new garment ink formulation developed specifically for the Epson PrecisionCore™ TFP® print head – delivering precise and repeatable performance, image quality and high reliability. The Epson SureColor F2000 White Edition offers the benefit of white ink for printing on dark or color fabrics, and the Epson SureColor F2000 Color Edition is a high-speed CMYK-only model. Availability & Support The SureColor F2000 Series printers are currently available for $19,995 MSRP and offer a standard Epson PreferredSM Limited Warranty, a one-year program that includes toll-free advanced telephone access Monday through Friday and usually next business-day on-site service in the unlikely event of any hardware failure.
