Organized by the International Sign Association (ISA), this
conference and expo features 1500 exhibit booths from more than 500
companies in technologies related to signmaking, including digital
printing equipment, media manufacturers, and service providers, as
well as sign manufacturers.

The show’s ‘Discovery’educational series includes seminars on
topics such as: ‘How to Choose the Right Printer for Your Business,’
‘Managing Human Resources,’ ‘Effective Sales Management: Getting the
Most Out of Your Salespeople, ‘Vinyl Graphics Installation,’ and
‘Signmaking in the ‘Digital Era.”

Exhibit Hall hours will be from 9:30 am to 5 pm on Thursday, March
31 and Friday, April 1st, and from 10 am to 4pm on Saturday, April
2nd. Show registration hours are Tuesday March 29: 2pm to 5pm; March
30: 10 am to 6pm; March 31: 7:30 am to 6pm; April 1: 8:30am to 6pm;

Techniques, this conference and trade show was developed for creative
illustrators and designers as well as commercial, portrait, and

The Gutenberg & Digital Outlook event will take place April
27-30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hosted by the Graphic
Arts Show Company (GASC), the three-day event comprises 40
educational seminars as well as a host of companies exhibiting their
wares. GASC expects approximately 8,000 visitors to attend the event.

The theme for the event is ‘Unlock Your Digital Potential,’ and
digital topics in the educational sessions will include: ‘Color
Management for Digital Pros,’ ‘PDF 2005,’ ‘Developing a Business Plan
for Digital Print,’ ‘Getting Started in Digital Fine Art
Printmaking,’ ‘Soft Proofing,’ ‘JDF Update: Is it Worth the Money?’
‘Digital Prepress Futures,’ and others.

Event exhibitors will run the gamut, say show organizers–from
prepress software and hardware, to traditional and digital presses,
bindery and finishing equipment, design and digital imaging software
and hardware, and more.

(GASC), Print and Converting is one of the largest trade shows held
for printing, publishing, and converting technology. Print and
Converting ’05 will encompass 900,000 sq ft within Chicago’s
McCormick Place convention center and will occupy both the North and
South Halls.

Attendees, which include printers, publishers, prepress managers,
