ColorBurst Proofing System is SWOP-Certified

CSE's ColorBurst Proofing System has become one of the few lower-cost inkjet systems to be SWOP-certified for producing color-accurate off-press inkjet proofs. The system combines ColorBurst RIP software for PCs with an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 or 9600 wide-format inkjet printer, Epson Proofing Paper Semi Matte, and Epson Ultrachrome? pigmented inks.

According to CSE's Larry Spevak, the system can be used with either the ProLab, Pro II, Pro and SE versions of ColorBurst software: “All ColorBurst products include pre-configured settings and linearization features to ensure that customers will quickly be able to produce SWOP-certified proofs on their Epson 7600/9600 printers.”

The ColorBurst Proofing System automatically nests jobs to minimize paper waste and can automatically match industry-standard spot colors. The system can be relinearized to ensure that SWOP-proofs generated on ColorBurst Proofing Systems are consistent among different job sites anywhere in the world.
