Clemson Print Shop Receives Innovator Award

Campus Banner + Design, a student-run PSP located on Clemson University’s campus in South Carolina, has received the In-Plant Innovator Award at the In-Plant Innovators Conference in Washington, D.C. Established in 2007, the full-service design and production facility is staffed by students from various degree programs.

Campus Banner + Design offers employees experience in business management, graphic design, and print production, staffing up to 75 students each year. Students work with the shop’s , producing environmental graphics, canvas photos and prints, and more.

The shop creates , , and signage for Clemson’s tennis, soccer, and baseball teams, and is in charge of the production and installation of for the university’s cars, small buses, and golf carts. It also serves other nearby universities, local businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations. Recent projects include 500 square feet of wall graphics for the campus’s Olympic weight room and several wall murals for Clemson’s Jervey Gym, the latter being the shop’s largest student-run project to date.
