Despite the many digital ways in which we communicate in modern society, stickers have continued to flourish as a means to show off your personality and point of view. You’ll find stickers blaring messages on laptops, water bottles, car bumpers, product packaging, and walls. StickerYou, an e-commerce business offering custom-printed, die-cut stickers, recently launched their first brick-and-mortar location, StickerYou: The Store. Inside the custom experience center located in Toronto, the company created a History of Stickers Museum and a permanent sticker art exhibit dubbed Stickers: RePeeled.

The team from StickerYou printed and installed decals of varying designs and sizes to provide a background for wide-format museum graphics that illustrate the history of adhesive stickers, which originated in the 1700s. For the art exhibit portion of the project, they printed wall decals that appeared as a viewer would find them if they were walking down a city street.

The two separate displays were installed on opposite sides of a single room at StickerYou: The Store to offer an immersive and creative experience for customers to learn about the products and history.
