Aslan Unveils New Glass-Decoration Films

Film is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, and UV inks.

Aslan-Schwarz has developed two new glass-decoration films: Aslan EL 300 and DFL 300.

Both 3.15-mil self-adhesive, sight-obscuring films are compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, and UV inks, and both feature the company's Dryapply technology. A honeycomb structure in the film's release liner creates air channels in the adhesive, enabling bubbles to be simply smoothed out, and guarantees problem-free, dry application with no need for water, Aslan reports. In addition, the application tape can be removed as soon as the film has been applied.

The soft-PVC film comes in two types: Aslan EL 300, for printer cutters, with a width of 49.6 in., and Aslan DFL 300, for digital printing, with a width of 53.9 in. Both feature a sandblasted look in final application.

The company also has launched a new website, which features a user-friendly menu divided into applications and industries. There’s a downloadable technical data sheet for each type of film.
