Oce Acquires Azon Assets

Oce has acquired the assets associated with two converting and distribution facilities in Arlington, TX and Torrance, CA. The assets, purchased from Precision Paper Company, include product inventory for AzonColor, Comstoc, and Reprographic Classic brands in the color inkjet printing, reprographic, and CAD inkjet printing markets, as well as converting and distribution equipment. Precision Paper had recently purchased the assets from InteliCoat Technologies when the latter divested its reprographic business (primarily known for the Azon branded product line).

Former Azon brand customers will be served through the current Oce sales and distribution network. Current Azon phone and fax numbers will remain in place through February 20, Oce reports.
