New Fabrics from Fisher Textiles

Fisher Textiles has introduced a range of new fabrics to its product roster and launched a new Colored Paper program.

GF 7176 Supreme Knit is an 8.2-oz warp knit 2-bar fabric that’s 100% polyester and compatible with UV and dye-sub printing. Flame-retardant, it passes NFPA 701, has been tested for ASTM E84, and meets Class A, Flame Spread Index 25 or less and Smoke Developed Index 450 or less. Applications: photographic backdrops, geometric displays, tradeshow exhibits. 192-in. widths.

GF 8682 Twilite is a 100% polyester woven backlit fabric (7.8-oz) for dye-sub and UV printing. Flame-retardant and passes NFPA 701. Applications: lightboxes, banners, tradeshow exhibits. 122-in. widths.
GF 7110 X-Out is a 6.7-oz fabric comprising a polyester base with viscose/rayon flocking. Fire-retardant, it passes NFPA 701 and is formaldehyde-free. For dye-sub and UV printing. Applications include blockout liner and opaque single sided banners. 110-in. widths.

GF 6640 Poly Canvas (FR) replaces the company’s GF 6640 Poly Linen. For dye-sub and UV, the 8.4-oz GF 6640 boasts an increased whiteness versus its predecessor and is 1 oz heavier. Flame-retardant and NFPA 701-certified. 121-in. widths.

480 Blockout is a 13.1-oz tri-layer material comprising Fisher 480 Poplin on the top side laminated to 195 Film in the middle with 480 Poplin laminated on the back side. It can be printed on both sides and is compatible with UV printing. Applications: P-O-P/banners, blockout, double-sided banners, tradeshow exhibits. 60-in. widths.

1010 Element is Fisher's newest awning fabric. The 8.5-oz, 100% polyester fabric has been tested in accordance with several AATCC test methods for water-repellency. For dye-sub and UV printing. In addition to awnings, it can also be used for street pole banners and patio furniture. 60-in. widths.

And, Fisher Textiles has launched its Colored Paper Program, offering colored transfer paper in 70- and 126-in. widths. Available as paper only or as single or double-sided print, in five colors.
