Extensis Releases Portfolio 7.0.4 Upgrade

Extensis has announced the immediate availability of an update to Portfolio 7, the company's digital asset management solution. The free Portfolio 7.0.4 desktop update offers file-format support for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. In addition, the update provides a filter for digital camera RAW images, extending usability for the professional photographer and creative community. Additional new formats included are: Adobe DNG, JPEG 2000, TIFF and JPEG conversion to PixelLive and PixelSafe, and others. A complete list of supported file types are available on the Extensis website.

Extensis also has made available new and updated SQL connect modules for Microsoft SQL, Microsoft MSDE, MySQL, and Oracle databases. The add-on modules enable companies with Portfolio 7 to scale to millions of assets and provide improved workflow automation. Prices on the SQL connect modules: $4499.95 (MSDE and MySQL) and $7499.95 (Oracle 9i/10 and MS-SQL). (Extensis: www.extensis.com)
