Ampco Graphix creates wall mural for aquatic complex.

Since the 1970s, the City Centre Aquatic Complex in Coquitlam, British Columbia, had sported the same interior décor. To finally bring the aquatic recreation center into the new millennium, the city of Coquitlam contacted Ampco Graphix to create a wall mural to fancy up the swimming-pool area. Ampco designed an athletic-swimming themed mural based on a concept presented by the aquatic center. For output, the shop took to its EFI Vutek 150 with EFI Fiery RIP, onto 3M Controltac IF 180Cv3-10 self-adhesive vinyl. A 3M matte laminate was added and the graphic was hand trimmed. Then, two Ampco installers hung the mural over the course of nearly seven hours.
