Catalina Graphic Films Announces 45th Anniversary

Calabasas Hills, California – May 15, 2013 – Catalina Graphic Films is proud to announce the company’s 45th Anniversary of its founding. Celebrating over 45 years in the graphic arts and print industry, Catalina Graphic Films is the premier custom coater of Pressure Sensitive materials for the Digital, Offset, Screen, Industrial and Specialty markets.

Founded in 1968 as Catalina Plastic Suppliers, Inc., Catalina started business as a distributor of non-pressure sensitive plastic sheets and films. In 1972, the Company purchased its first pressure-sensitive adhesive coating line and became Catalina Plastics and Coating. The core business became the distribution of pressure sensitive coated plastics and films printed by offset and screen processes.

Eventually, Catalina Plastics and Coating was officially renamed to Catalina Graphic Films to more accurately reflect the Company’s current focus and direction.
