BBA Fiberweb Introduces Resolution Media

BBA Fiberweb, a manufacturer of a wide
variety of nonwoven fabrics (from diapers
and hand wipes to crop covers and fiber-reinforced
plastics), has introduced its
Resolution line of printing media. Resolution
is made of continuous polyester filaments
that are permanently bonded by
heat and pressure, which makes for a
strong, durable, non-creasing, water- and
tear-resistant media. Its matte finish and
super-white appearance allows for
vibrant colors and photo-quality output. It
can be sewn, punched, glued, or converted
as well as rolled for easy transportation
or storage.

Resolution is available with a standard
surface or with a coating enhancement for
rapid drying, higher resolution, and excellent
color saturation. It can be printed on
with aqueous and solvent-based wide-format
inkjet printers and is currently available
in two weights”?4.5 and 8 oz”?and in
