Ultraflex Systems has expanded its front-lit media line with the introduction of Normandy Lite FL. An 11-oz, front-lit banner or billboard material for UV, solvent, eco-solvent, or screen printing, Normandy Lite boasts similar features to Ultraflex’s Normandy Pro, including tear- and fade-resistance, strength, durability, and vibrant and consistent print quality. But the new Lite version also features a lighter-weight structure, making for easier installation and lower shipping costs, Ultraflex points out. Lite meets NFPA 701, CA Title 19 and CSFM fire standards. It’s available in a matte finish in 126- and 196-in. widths.
 

The company also has introduced SuperPrint Lite FL, a 6.5-oz, gray-backed PVC media aimed at outdoor billboard and banner applications for up to 1 year. The backside of this material is gray colored and has no PVC, making it lightweight but very strong and durable. It can be UV-, solvent-, or screen-printed, and is resistant to tearing and fading. Available in widths up to 196 in.
