Two Workshops from Roland in November

Roland DGA will hold two separate workshops in November at its headquarters in Irvine, California:

• X-Rite Roland Color Workshop : In this one-day interactive seminar, users will learn step-by-step color-management strategies to help them increase their productivity, avoid common pitfalls, and experience better color output. This course will specifically focus on the fine points of color management in conjunction with the Roland VersaWorks’ color-management engine. Specific topics will include: color theory, digital printing basics, workflow color management, unique RIP color-management settings, color-measurement devices, custom profiles, and display profiles for soft proofing. Each attendee receives a comprehensive workbook that serves as a reference tool back on the job as well as free samples.

• Productivity Workshop: Designed for users of Roland's VersaCamm, Pro II or Pro III print or print/cut devices, this session provides in-depth training on how to increase productivity, maintain the printer, and prolong the performance of their equipment. Specific topics will include: machine servicing and calibrating; establishing a consistent color workflow; overview and features of Roland VersaWorks; printing, laminating and cutting; media properties; tips; business opportunities.
