SGIA Expo 2017’s Pre-Show Workshops

SGIA will offer two half-day programs prior to the in New Orleans. “Wide-Format 101: Four Steps to Profitability” is a returning workshop focusing on large-format inkjet technology, covering topics such as vertical markets, product areas, color management, materials, finishing, advice for running a business, and more. SGIA reports the program has been updated for 2017 and will feature presentations from Mimaki USA’s Josh Hope, Travis Barcelona of Nazdar, SGIA Research Coordinator Olga Dorokhina, and other industry experts.

“Your Business: Prepare for Success” is a brand-new program designed for beginning businesses. Attendees can expect to learn about time management, branding, marketing, and sales, and receive advice from successful printers. Speakers include Ryan Sauers, Sauers Consulting; Vince DiCecco, Your Personal Business Trainer; David Fellman, Dave Fellman & Associates; and Tom Trutna, Big Ink.

Both workshops are scheduled for Monday, October 9, 1-5 p.m. Registration is open now.
