The variety of display graphics that can be created on Roland SOLJET mild-solvent, wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters continues to grow. Roland DGA recently added a clear, adhesive-backed vinyl to its line of Soljet Certified Media (SCM). Roland develops and tests SCM to achieve optimal results when printing with the low-volatile, solvent-based inks used in the Soljet printers.

The 3-mil vinyl has a semi-permanent adhesive and can be used to produce window signs, durable stickers, countertop signs, and other general-purpose graphics on flat surfaces.

It is not conformable to rivets, irregular curves, or indentations. Lamination is recommended for graphics that will be exposed to chemicals and abrasion. The media lists for $269.95 for a 50-in. x 66-ft. roll. (Roland DGA Corp., www.rolanddga.com)
