Polaroid Large-Format Printers

Launches solvent, eco-solvent, dye sub, and UV presses.

Polaroid has announced the US launch of four printer lines, including solvent, eco-solvent, dye sub, and UV. Applications range from signage, POP displays, bus wraps, tradeshow displays, and more. All presses feature unidirectional and bidirectional print modes and file format compatibility with EPS, JPEG, PDF, TIFF, and Postscript.

The Polaroid Nova UV LED 3.20 features 4-9 Ricoh G5 printheads and reaches print speeds up to 1060 sq ft/hr in production mode. The press images flexible media up to 126 in. wide with 720 x 1200 dpi resolution.

The 71-in. Polaroid Second 1.80 is engineered with two Epson DX5 printheads with 1400 dpi resolution and print speeds reaching 250 sq ft/hr. Compatible with flexible media.

The Polaroid HS-2 5113 Sublimation Printer images media including glass, acrylic, wood, PVC, metal panels, ceramic tiles, ceiling film, vinyl, advertising banners, PET, wallpaper, and more. With 4-9 Ricoh G5 printheads, the press offers 720 x 1200 dpi resolutions and print speeds of 1023 sq ft/hr.

The Polaroid T-Rex UV LED press offers users the options of 2-9 Ricoh G5 printheads or 2-8 Kyocera printheads with resolution up to 1200 dpi and print speeds reaching 807 sq ft/hr. Compatible media includes glass, acrylic, wood, PVC, metal panels, ceramic tiles, ceiling film, vinyl, advertising banners, PET, wallpaper, and more.
