OKI Data Infotech has expanded its ColorPainter line of inkjet printers with the 104-in. H3-104s. The largest ColorPainter model offered, the H3-104s is designed for high productivity, and prints at speeds up to 609 sq ft/hr. The machine’s low-odor, eco-solvent ink set is reportedly durable up to 3 years outdoors, and features 8 colors, including gray and light gray, for improved monochrome printing and color gradations. In addition, OKI's Safe Scanning System Technology delivers a warning message when media wrinkles are detected, and a new calibration function allows the printer to adjust automatically when new media is loaded. The H3-104s also features Smart Pass 4 Technology for reduced banding; Smart Nozzle Mapping 2 Technology for hiding clogged nozzles; Dynamic Dot Printing Technology for optimal dot size and density; remote communication with email and Twitter notifications; and mesh and double-sided printing options.
