HP has announced several new and modified printers for its Scitex line:

The HP Scitex 11000 Industrial Press is designed for cost-effective short runs on a variety of media, from fiber-based textiles to rigid plastics. The 63-in. press features Smart Coat ink layer technology, intended for surface flexibility and durability without an additional overcoat. Prints up to 6997 sq ft/hr in 6 colors.

With automated stack-to-stack, hands-free operating, the 63-in. HP Scitex 15500 Corrugated Press features a media handling system that prints on warped boards and industrial-grade corrugated media. Prints up to 6997 sq ft/hr in 6 colors.

In addition, the HP Scitex FB550 and FB750 now offer a tabletop roll holder for flexible substrates, as well as tapered wheels for preventing damage to the edges of media. These compact models print on most flexible or rigid substrates up to 2.5 in. thick; specialty applications include white ink as well as matte, gloss, and textured effects.
