Nur Opens Expedio Manufacturing Facility

Nur Macroprinters has opened an additional manufacturing facility near Tel Aviv dedicated to the production of its Expedio 5000 printer. Manufacturing of the Expedio has already begun at the new 7750-sq-ft facility, and the company reports that production capacity for the new line is up to 20 Expedio units per quarter. Nur plans to begin commercial shipments of the Expedio, which was previewed at this spring's ISA show, toward the end of 2004.

“We've already received numerous orders for Nur Expedio from print-service providers who were impressed with the prototypes,” says David Amir, Nur's president and CEO. “Our current assembly lines are already running at full capacity, so we have decided to further expand our production capacity with a dedicated production space for the Expedio printers.” (Nur Macroprinters: www.nur.com)
