Covestro has added two nonreflective polycarbonate substrates to the Makrolon line: Makrolon NR and Makrolon NR-C. Makrolon NR is engineered with UV-resistance technology for outdoor durability. The lightweight, digitally printable, thermoformable sheet features a nonpixelating texture, dimensional stability, and high temperature resistance. Makrolon NR’s matte surface is designed to reduce reflection and glare for applications such as menu boards and signage. Available in 80.5-in. sheets.

Makrolon NR-C features a textured hard coat on one side for second-surface printing. Designed to reduce glare and hinder abrasion and chemical damage, the outdoor-durable substrate is engineered for harsh applications including display and screen protectors, outdoor signage, and menu boards. Available in 48-in. widths.
