Epson America has introduced its Epson Stylus Pro 7700 and 9700 printers, specifically engineered for corporate graphics professionals as well as CAD and GIS mapping users. The Stylus Pro 7700 (24-inch) and Stylus Pro 9700 (44-inch) incorporate the company’s MicroPiezo TFP printheads and UltraChrome pigment-based inks (CY + Vivid Magenta + photo/matte black). Top resolution is 1440 x 1440 dpi, and throughput is 41 seconds in draft mode (360 dpi) for a 22 x 30-inch print; 1:16 minutes in fine mode (720 dpi); 3:22 minutes in SuperPhoto mode (1440 dpi).
