Nazdar's new NDI 800 series of inks is designed for use in Idanit 162AD and Novo digital printers. This fast-drying ink delivers 2-yr outdoor durability for vertical outdoor exposure and maximum resistance to UV degradation and environmental pollution, according to the company. The inks are designed for use with backlits, decals, and billboard applications.

In addition, Nazdar's NDI 400 Series inks are now confirmed for use with the Mutoh Toucan, using Spectra Nova printheads. The NDI 400 Series inks maintain their color intensity for up to 2-yr outdoors, are resistant to the effects of UV degradation and color fading, and are fast-drying, Nazdar reports. In addition, the NDI 400 inks are backed by Nazdar's warranty; if the NDI inks are proven responsible for a printer breakdown, Nazdar will reimburse the owner for the costs to repair the damage to the ink train.

Both the NDI 800 and 400 inks show good adhesion and flexibility on most self-supporting flexible and pressure-sensitive vinyls. (Nazdar: www.nazdar.com)
