Megaink, based in the Czech Republic,
and Full Spectrum Inks of Florida have
teamed up to announce the NOMESS bulk
ink system. Instead of refilling bulk tanks,
the NOMESS system uses the ink bottles
themselves”?the user simply installs a
new bottle of ink, without having to pour
into or refill a reservoir. The system is
externally mounted on the wide-format
printer and acts as a continuous-feed ink
supply for the Roland SC, SP, and SJ series,
Mimaki JV3, and Mutoh Falcon Outdoor II
solvent printers.

Megaink's Active Solvent inks feature
a wide color gamut, high pigment density,
and fast dry times. In addition to
CMYKcm, Megaink also offers orange and
green for these printers.

The systems will vary by machine
type and accommodate 4, 6, or 8 colors of
Active Solvent inks. Each ink is specifically
formulated for each printer and
