LINDSAY THEISEN HAS been an artist since childhood, drawing “designs” every chance she got. That early drive stayed with her — she graduated college with a degree in graphic design, a minor in fine art, and a concentration in 3D art. She immediately began working in the sign industry and, from there, set about broadening her design experience.

When the industrial company she worked for laid off its most recent hires in 2017, Lindsay had a decision to make and she went for it. She bought a “souped-up” computer for design and founded Just Fab Graphics in Mount Pleasant, MI, from her living room.

“I sold my couch and put my Roland DG TrueVIS VG2-540 54-inch printer/cutter in place of it,” she says. Today, operating from a newly finished shop, Lindsay and her team of four employees print everything from whiskey bottle labels to 53-foot semi-trailers.

An integral part of her community, Lindsay knows many of the business owners in town, and they regularly turn to her for help with their branding efforts. Lindsay and her crew recently transformed a former Frito Lay delivery van with a battered wrap into a stunning catering vehicle and mobile advertisement for their client, Pete Lieber of The Cruisin’ Chef Catering.

After Just Fab’s team removed the old wrap, the van made a quick trip to the body shop for a smooth and sand out, among other bodywork renovations. The body shop also installed a catering window and vent. The vehicle then returned to Just Fab Graphics, where Lindsay and her team used their eco-solvent printer/cutter to produce and install stunning graphics that take this full-service catering vehicle to the next level.

  • Vibrant colors
Rich, saturated hues attract the attention of other motorists and get the catering vehicle noticed while parked at events.
  • Precision Graphics Printing
Catering vehicle graphics need to be printed at the optimal size for easy viewability while driving down the highway, yet with enough quality and precision to withstand close-up viewing by event customers.
  • Installation
Careful installation work was needed to wrap the vehicle, including around its newly installed side vent and catering window, to ensure maximum longevity for the graphics.
