Mimaki Co-Markets with ErgoSoft

Mimaki is now recommending ErgoSoft's PosterPrint v11 for its JV22-160 Ultra-8 printer. As part of a recent agreement, a feature-rich demo of PosterPrint and ErgoSoft ColorGPS (ICC profiling system) will be included with all Mimaki JV22 printers. The combination of the JV22-160 Ultra-8 and PosterPrint means unmatched speeds, control, color gamut, and image fidelity, reports Mimaki.

In addition, at ISA, Mimaki previewed the prototype of its new SS-2 solvent white ink for use with the JV3 printers. The white ink can be used for the JV3 160S, JV3 160-SP, and JV3-250SP models with new F/W. The S model can utilize CMYK + WW (two white inks for double ink density); the SP models use CMYKcm + WW. White ink will be available in June/July 2005. Mimaki also expects to release new spot colors (orange, green, fluorescent pink, fluorescent yellow, and fluorescent green) in October/November 2005.
