REPUTATION
Look for places you can ask for reviews via QR codes, like your business cards or in-store signage. According to Bizrate, 91% of consumers read at least one review before making a purchasing decision.

NETWORKING Get started now on holiday gifts for employees, clients, or other business connections. Christmas is almost here!

Nov 10-16

SALES
Roll out your holiday spiff. Cash bonuses are always popular, but what about a commitment to take a top performer to Printing United next year? That’s also an investment in your business.

OPERATIONS Analyze your check-out procedure. Brainstorm ideas with staff on how to make it faster and more efficient, then implement changes.

Nov 17-23

MARKETING
It’s high season for functions. Accept all invitations to parties, Chamber of Commerce events, neighborhood fundraisers, open houses and mixers. Check your stock of business cards. What compelling offers do these little billboards make? Volunteer to be a speaker to talk about what your business has to offer.

Nov 24-Nov 30

MANAGEMENT
You can’t praise too much – dole it out liberally. It’s the No. 1 way to guide your employees’ work patterns and keep morale elevated. “Loved the way you handled that car wrap complaint,” for example.

Dec 1-7

PAYROLL
If you hand out holiday bonuses, consider giving them in the first week of December. Your staff will appreciate the additional holiday cash.

MARKETING
Start posting photos of your two best installs on Facebook each day. Post the first when you open and the other around 3 p.m. Ask each of your employees to post at least one picture a day to your shop’s Instagram account. Watch for feedback and keep the conversation going.

Dec 8-14

MARKETING
Keep posting your end-of-year event schedule on your social media – email and mailed invites can go astray.

Dec 15-21

FINANCES
The end of the year is approaching fast. Pre-order any tax forms you’ll need from the IRS.

Dec 22-28

MERCHANDISING
Did you see an adorable reindeer lawn ornament but didn’t want to spend? Or has your holiday tree reached the end of its lifetime? The next few weeks are perfect for buying 2024 decorations.

EMAIL
Starting the new year fresh could mean deep-cleaning your facility, but you could also focus on getting your digital workspace in order – maybe by finally achieving inbox zero!

MONTHLY PROJECT

Launch a Gallery of
Your Best Work

  1. To create your gallery, start by gathering high-quality images of your best projects. Include a variety of projects to demonstrate your range.
  2. If you already have a website, add a dedicated portfolio or gallery section. Platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix have easy-to-use portfolio templates. For each project, create short, engaging descriptions. Include details like the client’s needs, the materials used, any unique challenges, and the client’s comments on the project. Add relevant keywords to your images and descriptions (e.g., “custom vehicle wraps” or “outdoor signage”) to help the gallery rank on search engines.
  3. Once your gallery is up, update frequently to show your business is active and continually delivering quality work. Link your gallery to your social media profiles and make a new post whenever you add a new project to the gallery.
