MacTac Accepting Entries for Worldwide Graphics Awards

MACtac Graphic Products is now accepting entries for the 'MacTac Worldwide Awards-2008.' The biennial program highlights 'high-impact visual communications projects' produced with MacTac pressure-sensitive materials.

Open to projects produced in 2006 or 2007 using any MacTac Performance Graphics, the awards program is divided into three divisions, segmented by geographic region: North America, Europe, and International (Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, Asia, and Oceania). Each division is assigned an independent panel of industry experts to judge the entries in four categories: vehicle graphics, exterior signs, interior signs, and technical achievement. The entry must include a description and photo of the job as well as a brief explanation of the selection of MacTac products.

The following criteria will be used in judging: creativity, visual impact, and technical achievement, including converting and application skill. A winner will be awarded in each category with a $3000 cash prize. First-, second-, and third-place winners in each territory will also be awarded cash prizes. Closing date for entries is January 31, 2008. Official rules and entry forms are available on the company's website.
