Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) has expanding the offerings available in its Matchprint Digital Halftone Proofing System with its new KPG Matchprint Digital Halftone Silver Media, KPG Matchprint Digital Halftone Gold Media, and KPG Matchprint Digital Halftone White Media. The products expand the capabilities of the KPG Matchprint Digital Halftone Proofing System, providing accurate proofing of opaque white, metallic silver, and gold inks.

The white media enables the creation of digital halftone proofs that include an opaque white underlayer required for printing on clear or foil substrates. This material can also be imaged in a Creo Spectrum used for Matchprint Digital Halftone proofs. KPG's Matchprint proofing system is an IR thermal imaging system featuring a RIP common to both plates and proofs that produces identical screening on proofs and plates.
