A new 104-inch Dual Roll Kit for its Designjet L65500 printer is available from Hewlett-Packard. The kit allows owners of the L65500 to produce a single job with two side-by-side rolls or produce two different jobs at the same time. The accessory accommodates rolls of varying widths and lengths; maximum 49-inch widths (minimum 36 in.). Media must be same brand/model; same ICC profile for each roll and same print mode. Price: $10,000.
The Dual Roll Kit is available now for its L65500, on new machines and for existing machines in the field; it will also be available for two soon-to-be-released machines.
