Ferrari Textiles Premieres Mesh and Frontlit Media

Ferrari Textiles, based in France but with offices in Pompano Beach, FL, offers a score of PVC-coated fabrics that are compatible with solvent and UV-curable printers. At ISA, Ferrari introduced three new products–Mesh FR 331, VisionMesh FR 331, and FrontLit FR 456.

Mesh FR 331 is a white-on-white, dimensionally stable 12.6 oz. mesh, which is flame-retardant and features a flat printface (to avoid printhead crashes). The final graphic hangs flat with no curled edges, due to Ferrari's Precontraint technology. Applications include retail window displays, hanging banners, P-O-P displays, and framed banners on buildings. It's available with or without an adhesive backing and in rolls from 54 to 106 in. wide.

Similar to Mesh FR 331, VisionMesh FR 331 features a white printface on a black back for better see-through from behind. It is a 12.6 oz fire-retardant media and is available in 63 and 106 in. widths, with or without adhesive backing.

Printable on either side, FrontLit FR 456 is a 15.9 oz media with one face gloss and one face matte. With a very flat printface that hangs flat and exhibits no curling, this fire-retardant frontlit works for event promotion, wall decoration, billboards, stadium banners, and hanging banners.
