Mutoh has announced the ValueJet 1938TX direct-to-fabric printer for high-speed production of applications such as custom apparel, home furnishings, tradeshow graphics, soft signage, flags, upholstery, and more. The 75-in. machine is engineered with dual staggered printheads, a heavy duty media feed and take-up system, and a built-in ink trough for printing open fabrics. It is also compatible with closed, face-in, and face-out roll media.

The 1938TX images up to 914 sq ft/hr at a max. resolution of 1440 dpi. Users can choose up to 8 ink colors from an open platform. Additional features include Intelligent Interweave printing for reduced banding and the ValueJet Status Monitor app for remote monitoring.
