EFI Acquires Escada Systems

EFI has announced its acquisition of Escada Systems, a United Kingdom-based supplier of Corrugator Control systems for the packaging market. EFI aims to expand its offerings in the corrugated packaging market with the addition of Escada’s technology and expertise. The company reports developments in its for sheet feeders and full corrugated box plants are in the works. Escada employees have been integrated into EFI Productivity Software business unit.

Mimaki USA Announces New President Kawagoshi

Mimaki USA has appointed Naoya Kawagoshi as president of the company, effective immediately. Kawagoshi was previously VP of sales and has worked for Mimaki USA since 2012. His resume includes sales and management positions at the Mimaki Fukuoka and Tokyo branch offices.

Kawagoshi’s predecessor, Yasuhiro Haba, will return to Japan to lead new sales initiatives for the Americas, Asia, Oceana, and China, according to the company.
