The 4 x 8-ft Acuity Prime flatbed offers an air-cooled LED curing system and Fujifilm Uvijet HM CMYK + clear ink system designed for imaging a variety of flexible and rigid media up to 2 in. thick with excellent adhesion and a wide color gamut, the company reports. Additional features include jetting primer to improve adhesion and negate the need for pretreating substrates; media registration pins for pinpoint media placement; five vacuum zones based on common media sizes for quick media changeover; integrated operator tool shelf and PPE storage; and more.

Offered in 126- and 197-in. UV or LED configurations with up to eight ink channels, the Acuity Ultra R2 superwide printer features design improvements including larger ink tanks, integrated chiller, maintenance-free ink pumps, and external visual light to indicate low ink levels. The press features a print viewing window from the redesigned workstation with desktop space, integrated lighting, and larger monitor. A crash detector with increased sensitivity and dual-way activation is engineered to detect and address print issues early while the machine’s low-scratch-surface platen and automated meniscus control offer more consistent and precise ink droplet placement.
