EFI has launched the Vutek Q Series of roll-to-roll LED printers, featuring the 198-in. Vutek Q5r with speeds up to 7233 sq ft/hr and the 138-in. Vutek Q3r reaching print speeds of 6006 sq ft/hr. GIS Atlas Image Quality Software

Global Inkjet Systems has added the Atlas Image Quality (IQ) toolset engineered for enhancing print quality in industrial printing applications. The intelligent software offers image management and inkjet printhead compensation for high image quality and productivity, the company reports. The durable, low-VOC, nickel-free ink is scratch resistant and compliant with CPSIA and California Prop 65 for direct-printing onto toys, school supplies, stationary, jewelry and fashion items, hygiene products, earbuds and electronic accessories, culinary products, pet products, braille signage, and other substrates including plastics, acrylics, brushed metal, paper, and ceramics.

V-Bond ink is available in CMYK, plus high-opacity, phthalate-free white and gloss for incorporating textural and dimensional print effects; the ink can be combined with Roland DG’s True Rich Color 2 profiles for a wider color gamut.

Mactac has announced Rebel Removable 500 media for cold weather applications. Rated for 32 F and higher, the media can be installed even when temperatures are low. The film is compatible with UV, solvent, eco-solvent, latex, and UV printing for applications such as P-O-P and promotional signage, decals, window graphics, indoor floor applications, and more. The opaque media with 90# Superflat liner is offered in bright white, matte, and clear finishes in 54- and 60-in. widths.
