Zevrix Solutions Introduces Instant Backup

Zevrix Solutions has released Instant Backup 1.0, a simple solution to securely back up selected files and folders online and locally.

Instant Backup allows users to specify various backup locations, such as an FTP or local disk, and creates a compressed disk image (.dmg) for each file or folder dropped on its icon. For complete backup security, the disk image can be encrypted and password protected. The user can choose to transfer all items to a default backup location automatically, or to show the list of backup locations to choose from. The number of previous backups to keep can also be specified.

Price of Instant Backup: $9.95.

* Released BatchOutput 3.3, which has added the ability to export InDesign CS4 files to SWF (small Web format). BatchOutput automates printing and exporting to PDF, PostScript, EPS, and JPEG of multiple and single InDesign documents;users can also export InDesign documents as single pages, assign variable fi le names, update modified links during processing, and process files in the background.

* Announced all of its products’ compatibility with Adobe Creative Suite 4. Zevrix products now allow for the automation of output from InDesign, save disk space and production time through image optimization and automated packaging, and eliminate errors with thorough preflighting.
