X-film, based in Germany, has announced its Iridiflex and Jetrex product lines. Iridiflex is a 500-gsm reflective, iridescent PVC banner material. Its micro-prism technology illuminates when light hits the surface. Suitable for solvent and mild-solvent printing, applications include P-O-S displays, indoor and outdoor banner signage, billboards, front and backlit graphics, and high visibility graphics.

The Jetrex line offers top-coated media for aqueous, mild-solvent, and solvent inks.

* Media compatible with water-based dye and pigmented inks include self-adhesive PVC, PET films, and photo papers.
* For mild-solvent printers, there are a variety of self-adhesive PVCs, PETP, and holographic films; new to this line is J-LSMXD, which is a metal/PVC sandwich offering outdoor durability up to 5yr.
* Solvent-compatible substrates include transparent and white self-adhesive PVC substrates in matte or gloss finishes. For outdoor use, the company recommends adding its Visorex overlaminating film. New for solvent printers are its microporous photo papers in gloss and satin.
