3M has revealed 3M Print Wrap Film IJ280 and 3M Gloss Wrap Overlaminate 8428G for commercial vehicle applications. Print Wrap Film IJ280 offers 3M Complyv4 Air Release for smooth application and a proprietary solvent acrylic adhesive engineered for optimized initial tack, slide, and repositionability, according to the company. The film is engineered to conform with less heat and remove cleanly.

Gloss Wrap Overlaminate 8428G is a transparent, 1.2-mil cast overlaminate designed for enhanced UV durability, clarity, and lifting resistance, plus a gloss finish for a “wet paint” look. The media is said to offer high conformability for compound curves and deep recesses. The products are available in widths from 30 to 60 in.

Roland DGA has expanded the TrueVis series of wide-format eco-solvent printers with the addition of six new inkjet presses, including resin and UV models. All models are equipped with VersaWorks 6 RIP software and Roland DG Connect app.

The 64-in., 4-color TrueVIS AP-640 resin printer offers quick drying, environmentally friendly, Greenguard Gold-certified, water-based TrueVis TA Resin Ink and TA optimizer; dual staggered printheads; True Rich Color 3 preset; variable dot control technology; 7-in. full-color touch panel; high-productivity drying unit; automated gap adjustment; and more. Applications include wall décor, indoor signs, retail displays, stickers and decals, banners and posters, vehicle wraps, flags, textiles, and more utilizing substrates such as vinyl, paper, film, fabrics, and uncoated PVC.

The LG series of UV-LED printer/cutters includes the 30-in. LG-300, 54-in. LG-540, and 64-in. LG-640. The presses include features such as integrated adjustable take-up unit, simple media calibration with optical registration technology, high-speed print mode, 7-in. touchscreen control panel, staggered printheads, max. 1200 dpi output, and Greenguard Gold-certified Eco-UV inks available in seven configurations in up to 8 colors (CMYKO + red + white + gloss) and primer.

The MG series offers 30-in. MG-300 and 64-in. MG-640 printer/cutters, equipped with Greenguard Gold-certified Eco-UV EUV5 inks offered in eight configurations with up to 8 colors (CMYKO + red + white + gloss) + primer + decal release primer.
