Two Color-Management Courses Launched

Progressive Color Media and Prepress Training Solutions have partnered to produce two online color-management training courses: Color Management Theory and ICC Profiling.

The Color Management Theory course will help students gain a full understanding of what color is, how it's defined, and how instrumentation can be used to achieve color accuracy and quality. The curriculum also covers the basic topics involved with ICC profile-based color management.

The ICC Profiling course will teach users the basics of ICC profiling, including: an introduction to profiling software and hardware; profiling instrumentation; color settings in Adobe Creative Suite; input profiles; output profiles; proofing in Photoshop; profile inspection; and more.

Both courses offer interactive, 24/7-accessible training via the Internet. The courses are available for $149.95 each per user ($99.95 through June 30). Users can also upgrade to the Prepress Training Solution entire course library for $300.
