PGSF Builds Online Resume Bank for Scholarship Students

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) has created an online resume bank for all of its scholarship recipients. Recipients can post their resumes free of charge on www.gain.net, and these resumes can be searched for free by all PIA/GATF members for one year. PrintWorkers.com, an Internet job board for Web, copy, and printing professionals, donated the entire service, including all programming time and costs.

Approximately 75 PGSF scholarship recipients are graduating this spring, reports the foundation; graduates are seeking positions in printing technology, prepress, graphic imaging, packaging, sales, customer service, and business administration.

“This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the brightest and best students,” says George Ryan, executive president and COO of PIA/GATF and president of PGSF. “Many of the past recipients are in leadership roles of printing companies.”

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, formerly the National Scholarship Trust Fund, is a not-for-profit, private, industry-directed organization that dispenses undergraduate college scholarships and graduate fellowship assistance to those interested in graphic-communications careers.
